Best Wishes For 2017

It is only a few days until we will ring in 2017!  I wanted to write one final blog posting for 2016.

I must admit that the economic situation in Windsor and the surrounding area seems to me to be a lot better than it was a year ago. We are still a very long way from being prosperous, but at least we are starting to recover.

I really love living here in Tecumseh. Despite the library strike situation, which I cannot wrap my head around why an agreement couldn't have been made by now, everyone seems to work together in this area to create opportunities and ensure the well being of all its citizens. Oh and I will also mention how friendly everyone is, even people we don't know! Walking down the street, you are bound to get a smile or a hello from someone, which is  such a great feeling!

I wrote this about a year ago in my article here on the day of our Wedding Anniversary:

"I don't want to talk a lot about the events in 2015 since the beginning of the year because, dear reader, if you have been reading my other entries on my blog, you'll be quite familiar with what has happened and with what I and my family have had to deal. Yet, I just still have that important need personally to talk about it a bit at least one more time. Then, I want to forget about it because I believe my life has changed dramatically for the better. Forever! I do not want to remember any more about the near tragedy of the past. "

Unfortunately, I have not yet recovered as much as I was hoping to. I know now that I am in a better position physically and mentally, but there are still issues that I am facing today, especially with short-term memory. I owe so much to so many people, especially my own family members, who have helped me in my recovery.  I will always be grateful to you.

I just want to write about what is happening to me and share with my readers, all the different experiences that I am literally having every day now!

I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope that your night is filled with fun celebrations.  Please be safe and let's get ready to start 2017!
