The Dell 17" 2-in-1 Laptop Computer

As you know, I have written a lot of articles about Dell products. It is always exciting for me to do so because their products are so well made and so much fun to use.

I like to offer my honest comments and hope that you will find the information useful and take my suggestions into consideration when purchasing a new computer.  I have also been able to talk about my experience in dealing with the new Windows 10 software that came out. The Dell computers have done so well in handling this new software product notwithstanding how difficult this software really is as far as I am concerned.  Their experts have done a very good job in managing the new software that Microsoft produced for their products. Seriously though, every time I have received a new product and finished my report on it, I wanted it to remain at my place!

This discussion now leads into my talk now about the new 17" computer that I deal with in this article, the Inspiron 17" 7000 series. The most exciting part is the size that just came out recently. Everyone is familiar with 15 inch screens and smaller ones that went from 13" down to 11", but now there is a 17" screen, something that is quite atypical with portable computers, but shouldn't be discounted.

As a 2-in-1 laptop computer, what I truly love is the way it can be adjusted.  Of course, it can be used as a typical laptop but it can also be completely folded down. That makes the Dell Inspiron 7000 17" 2-in-1 Laptop Computer a completely flat laptop that is all in one piece. In other words, it pulls completely down and so makes it appear as if it is a screen only piece of hardware.

Moreover, and I have to admit that this is the part that I find most interesting with other 2-in-1 computers that I have seen in the past, it can be folded so that it can be made to look like a tent for viewing the screen. In other words, it goes into a "V" shape that keeps the laptop secure when it stands but also allows the customer to look at the screen only. That makes it the perfect tool to view movies or watching musicals or musical groups performing or playing computer games. It  can also  be folded completely as I discussed above

I found it so strange that so many smaller laptop computers are all of a sudden being produced. Yes, it makes good sense for them to be out in the marketplace to satisfy the users needs especially because of their smaller and lighter size. However, to me, the extra few inches in size of the Dell Inspiron 7000 17" 2-in-1 Laptop Computer really are significant. This large laptop computer provides services that are needed for which the small ones are just not good.

Let me give you just one example. The larger size of the Dell Inspiron 7000 17" 2-in-1 Laptop Computer just makes it easier to watch video from a distance. It makes it more comfortable for several people to watch the screen at the same time because there is a larger screen to view. It is the size of a small TV set now, the size that used to be quite common when I was growing up.  It is ideal for families who want to sit together to watch everything TV shows and movies,  to capturing moments (ex. holidays, celebrations, vacation photos) on video and uploading onto the computer. 

Believe it or not, the larger Dell Inspiron 7000 17" 2-in-1 Laptop Computer screen is also good in a business environment or as a teaching tool. As an example, it would be great for presentations and especially useful during teleconferences via Skype or other programs.

Another great feature is the bigger numeric screenpad. For those who struggle with their eye-sight (especially if you have bifocal lenses!) or have large fingers, you may end up hitting multiple keys at the same time by accident. Having the larger screenpad is an excellent advantage over the smaller laptops. 

As far as I am concerned, when one looks at buying a computer, it is important to decide what the main purpose will be. Are you a gamer? A business professional? Maybe you're a student, or even someone who just likes to jet-set on a plane and explore the world. I think there is a Dell computer for every type! However, based on some examples I gave above on the advantages of the Dell Inspiron 7000 17" 2-in-1 Laptop Computer, I feel this is a great computer with a lot of potential for a wide range of users.
